Corona virus according to experts would stay with us for a while. This is the very  statement so many of us hate to hear especially the front liners. 

They (health experts) also predicted  that life would never be the same after  Covid-19 as so many would loose their jobs and salaries would be halved for some people. Cost of living  would be  on the high side.  This very prediction is what is happening now and one wonders  how to wriggle out of all these.

 Guess what? Omolara Festus,  a delectable beauty expert, an entrepreneur and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Libra Shopping Place somewhere in Lagos concurred with what experts have said. "The Corona virus disease  is without doubt the biggest challenge facing the World today, and I am sure that by now, everyone knows the Economy of the world is going to take a serious downturn and all sectors of the Economy will be greatly affected .

"Personally, I have never agreed with what the President of Nigeria Labour Congress once said that no establishment should sack and that salaries must not be mutilated. See what is happening now? Some companies have started weeding.  I said it that time that their order not to weed or cut salaries could only work in government owned establishments/ agencies and parastatals and not private companies or private businesses. It is quiet difficult to give out what one does not earn."

 "With the trend in the economy of the world, we know productivity will reduce, importation cannot be as it used to be.  Dollar to Naira is #436 ,  so how do I even import if I cannot  travel? How do I pay full salaries when I do not make profit? It's only expected that if I had capacity of 10 staff, I'd cut it to 2 or 3 that my profit can take care of . It is only expected that expenses will be reviewed with reduction in productivity and output.
