I’m a Lagosian, I’m Yoruba, I’m an actress , I’m a voice-over-artiste, I’m an MC, I’m a world cup entertainment moving train. I read English in Lagos State University (LASU). When I was much younger, I never knew I was going to be an actress. But I always knew I was going to be a media person. I was looking up to being a news caster. I knew I was going to be on TV but I never knew I would be on TV as an actress. I grew up loving the news people because I love to speak fanatics a lot. So, I used to listen to them, and would be looking at their expressions and I said to myself I would be one of them. Ironically, It’s not like I had a role model. I was just amazed with all of them. There was this lady, she is late now, Mee Ellen Mode Damijo, I used to sit and would be looking at her. Even on international news too, my mum would see how  I was  glued to the  TV watching CNN,  looking at the newscasters  and she would ask me what I was listening to. But it was their expression. I knew I wanted to have my talk show too right from childhood. But acting never crossed my mind.

Naughtiest thing I ever did- Empress Anu Sosanya, actress

I consider this the naughtiest thing that ever happened to me recently because I could have avoided it but I persisted.
It happened when I was with my sister and her husband in their house. We couldn't go to the kitchen to cook that night because we were tired, or should I say, we were lazy to cook even the simplest of food such as noodles which we had in the kitchen. But later in the night, we became very hungry that we needed something to douse our hunger. But see what we did!

It was difficult to quit smoking-Yeni Kuti, late Fela’s daughter

‘There was no time I needed a second marriage’

Secret of my looks

I think the first secret behind my looks is to be happy. Try your best to smile or even laugh no matter what you are confronted with. That is what I do. I try as much as possible to laugh a lot. Then apart from laughing, I try to watch what I eat because even if I start laughing from now till eternity without a good diet you may not get a good result. But I must be honest with you, some months back, I wasn’t eating healthy. I was eating everything I see. But now, I have reduced that. I don’t eat much of junk these days but if I’m very hungry and junk food is what I see, I eat but I don’t eat much of that. Another thing that helps me to keep fit is that I love to dance. Oh yes, I still dance a lot. While doing my dance class I burn excess fat in the process. I dance three times in a week. Twice with the band and once for my dance class where I teach people how to dance Afro beat. Finally, I don’t take my dinner anything beyond seven pm.

My doctor asked when I had my breasts checked and I said never, so she sent me to the breast clinic,” she said.
