Though a medical student but I love modeling. It's a passion for me-Maduanuchi Nora Chisom

‘I’m thrilled the more when I’m the runway modeling’

This fashionista is Maduabuchi Nora Chisom, a fifth year medical student of Abia State University. She is a doctor to be and a model. Guess what? Modeling is her passion. Though she is always busy with school work/clinical but she still squeezes out time out of her busy schedule to do what makes her happy. Which of course is modeling/photo shoot. That is her own of ‘oiling’ her life or unwinding so to say. “Doing a photo shoot gives me a different kind of feeling. Being happy is a conscious choice and I’m thrilled a lot whenever I’m  modeling," she says, as a matter of fact.
Here she comes in red, maybe gathering momentum for Valentine's Day come next month

My song ‘Jonny’ was God’s special way of crowning my struggle in the music industry-Yemi Alade, diva

‘My kind of man? Someone with values; not a man that is artificial in nature
Yemi Alade a Nigerian diva who has been in the industry for almost a decade is still  doing what she loves best. In this chat with ADAEZE AMOS, she talked about her lifestyle and her kind of man.
Excerpts:

How was your rise in the industry?

The actual thing is that my rise in the industry is not rapid, may be people believe I am new in the industry because most of them knew me through my hit tract, ‘Johnny’ but the fact is that I have been in music industry for over a time now.`
Your track, ‘Johnny’ seems to be the music that shot you out . How were you able to achieve it?
It was not easy. My song  ‘Jonny’ was God’s special way of crowning my struggle in the music industry because when I did it, it was just like every other songs, and I never expected it to be a special blessing for me like it occurred today. And if you look at it now, it seems to be what people cannot do without. It earned me fame than what one cannot imagine. I strongly believe that the work, apart from hard work, was just God’s special way of crowning my efforts. If you check the view on line on daily basis, you will confirm to what I am talking about. I just thank God for it.

Attention Nigerian beauty queens! Time is ticking away your tenure

Miss Curvy Nigeria, Tourism pays courtesy call to Kwara State Commissioner for Health
By ADAEZE AMOS
Exactly on the sixth day of the new year (6/1/2016), Queen Siaka Nimat was off to work. She is not prone to just sitting before  her mirror for hours admiring herself.  Neither is she a beauty queen who wears a diamond-studded crown about with a long sash across her shoulder only to attend glamorous events/parties.
Her one year tenure as a beautiful queen according to her is a platform to touch lives and put smiles to the lips of people. That was why she traveled to Kwara state yesterday to pay a courtesy call to the state commissioner of health.
“I actually went to see him to submit my pet project proposal to him because part of my project is to anchor programs, seminars and talk shows that would tackle the major challenges  plus size women face in the society -ranging from low self esteem, discrimination and health issues such as high blood pressure, diabetes and cervical cancer. He promised getting back to me,” she giggled, excitedly.

Ebere Agu, an actress confesses positively into the year

The biblical mantra that says as one confesses, so it shall be is applicable to what Ebere Agu, an actress did recently. She confessed positively into the new year because she has a strong faith in the Lord. Hear her:
“My career is one of my goals for this year. I would cover up all my loses of last year. It wasn’t easy for me last year but I have resolved within myself that this year would be much more better than last year. I sincerely make my boast in the Lord.

I aspire to go far in my career and I would have divine connection to my destiny makers. Spiritually, I want to be on fire for God so that I can have a financial breakthrough. For I believe that every good thing cometh from above,” she enthused.

I drank someone’s bottle of soft drink mistakenly in a cinema hall-Ene Ochu, actress cum beauty queen

The naughtiest thing I have ever done is still green in my memory.  I went to see a movie at the cinema and I put my drink( sprite) in the hole on the hand of the chair I was sitting on. There was a hole on the left beside me where another lady was seated.  But the hole on my chair was on the right.
The lady beside me put her drink inside the hole of her chair. She was drinking a bottle of coke. I was so carried away with the movie and forgot my sprite was on the right hand side of my chair. Guess what I did?  I drank the girl's coke unknowingly with my eyes glued to the screen.

I always get picked for movie roles without lobbying or sleeping with anyone- Ijeoma Eneh Udekwe, actress cum beauty consultant

‘I have learnt never to be dependent on anyone’

 By ADAEZE AMOS
Ijeoma Eneh Udekwe, fondly known as Oma isn’t that popular in the entertainment industry but the pretty and sexy Enugu State born actress, beauty consultant and a businesswoman has endured in the entertainment world, no doubt. “Yes I have actually endured. And aside from acting, I’m an industrious entrepreneur. Reason is that I have a beauty/spa outlet where I sell cosmetics and ladies accessories. I’m proud to say that the business is huge,” she said, smilingly.
She started acting before she vied into business. I started acting when I was young because I have always had flair for it, but professionally I ventured into acting some three years ago and I have always loved it. It’s a passion for me but business is what I do because acting may not be paying all my dues. It’s always good for a woman to diversify in things that can fetch income for her. Than to put all her eggs in one basket,” she gesticulated.
