Actress Monalisa Chinda sets to re-marry tomorrow, 20th Feb

Monalisa Chinda, mother of one, whose marriage with Segun Dejo-Richard hit the rocks seven years ago would soon be addressed as a married woman once again. The marriage produced a seven year old daughter, remember? This  41-year-old -Nollywood thespian is set to try marriage again. Tomorrow, 20^th February, 2016 her traditional marriage would hold in Port Harcourt where her parents are residing. The identity of her husband is Victor Ola-Coker who comes from the Niger-Delta region.The white wedding will go down in May in the country of Greece.

She once said in an interview that she regreted that her first marriage crashed. "One thing I regret most is the fact that I'm divorced. Where I come from, I'm the first daughter. I'm from a royal family, it has never been on record in my family that the first daughter would walk out of her matrimonial home. But it was a matter of life and death, otherwise, I would have stayed back and make my marriage work," she said. 

Did you say that was also the same case with actress Foluke Daramola, whose first marriage crashed. She remarried and today she is happy in her home with her new hubby? Na you sabi!

In your short foray into the musical world, you have worked with A-list artistes such as  Timaya, Olamide among others. You have dropped hot singles, not less than five and shot hot videos, how do you feel not competing with other young blood like Kiss Daniel, Lil Kesh for the Headies Next Rated?

Nigerian music industry is highly competitive. Everybody is struggling to achieve  various goals. A white man says nothing good comes easy. Yes it’s true, I have featured  A-list artistes and yet I’m still not on the Headies Next Rated list. The Bible says there is time for everything, I so much believe in the Bible. My time is here, my time is now. I’m still standing tall, focused on achieving this year.

They became very popular when they released Lamborghini their previous single/video. They are too identical twins that you might mistake one for another.  Their stage name is ‘2Sec’ and they are not new name on the Nigerian entertainment scene. Welcome to the world of  Onyisi and Agiliga whose other songs  ‘Gwulime’ a single they sang in their dialect, ‘Club Banger’ and ‘Ma-Fowo’. These dudes  have calved a niche for themselves after touring  round the country with such music legends as 2Face Idibia alongside DammyKrane, Solidstar and Vector. In this interview with ADAEZE AMOS they talked about their musical career, lifestyle and dress sense.

Though you are well known in the musical world, but can you introduce yourselves and tell us some other things your fans may not know about you guys?

We are 2Sec (Onyisi and Agiliga). We are from a family of 12 and we hail from Onitsha Ugbo in Delta State.

How did you come up with your stage name 2Sec?

Our mum always joked that when my brother and I were born, we came out so fast that it felt we were born in two seconds apart.
