Queen Siaka Nimat dazzles in ripped jeans

She’s got both poise and elegance

Queen Siaka Nimat, always on point
Who says a beauty queen can’t slip into knee- ripped-jeans when she wants to be casually dressed? Oh yes, she can. After all, ripped jeans is the fad of the moment. And beauty pageantry isn’t a limitation to one’s style. Being a beauty queen doesn’t pose a hindrance  to expressing yourself in the fashion world. So, here she is not wearing her crown and sash, but her poise and elegance are intact as she walks well on heels. That really shows  she is a queen and you can’t beat that.
Guess what? She is flying the flag of Miss Curvy Nigeria Beauty pageantry higher everywhere she goes.

 Kudos girl!
Ripped jeans?  Fad of the moment

‘How would I forgive a hubby that wished me dead?’

Model
This is a story of a woman who is  bitter at heart because of what her husband did to her when she needed him most. That was a man who  married her when he had nothing. He grew up in the remote village of Uturu, in Abia state and couldn’t go to school because he wasn’t interested in education. He dropped out of school when he was in primary four and manned his late father’s petrol station. And because he was still very much young then, he was given the kerosene section of the business which was still in the same petrol station to man. And he was doing it so well that he left school and concentrated in that business.

Guys find me intimidating- Winnie Amangele, Miss Curvy Nigeria Ebony

'I have what it takes to make any dress look good'
Ever winning Winnie Amangele, a beauty queen

Winnie Amangele studied Fine Arts and majored in painting. Amazingly, she is a beauty queen, although when she was growing up, she never thought she would one day  be a  beauty queen.” I was always tagged as the fatty one of the house right from when I was a child. And seeing slim ladies go for stuffs like Miss Nigeria, Miss World and all that made me  think those ladies were awesome. And I looked at my stomach and asked myself if I was ever going to get there. But right now, I feel great about myself. I am the way I am because God made me this way and that has earned me this beautiful position. So, I feel blessed,” she enthused.

Being a woman has never limited my success in life-Ijeoma Ezunu, CEO Divine Children Gallery

'It's good to be a woman'
‘My mother taught me how to be strong’

Amiable Ijeoma Ezunu, the CEO of Divine Children Gallery  from Anambra state, has never regretted  being a woman. I can’t marry an actor because I’m jealous. -Ebere Agu, actress

'I don't mind spending a fortune on good phones and hair extensions'
‘Gowns flaunt my little curvy shape’
Ebere Agu, an actress is from Enugu state. This International Relations graduate of Novena University, Delta State has no dull moment. She is indeed fun to be with. A journalist delight you may say.  She is at home with all questions, without tagging any as confidential. In this exclusive interview with ADAEZE AMOS, she talked about life as an actress and her dress sense.
Excerpts:

You studied International Relations and you opted to make a career in acting. Who lured you into Nollywood?
I came into Nollywoood in the year 2013 through Patience Ozorkwo fondly known as Mama Gee, my God mother in the movie industry.  Thou it hasn't been easy for me in the movie world but patience and endurance matter a lot  if one wants to attain greater heights in life  and most importantly I have decided a long time to  put God first in all that I do. He would open more doors of favour for me, this I know. So, to answer your question,  nobody lured me into Nollywood.  I have always had  passion for acting right from my childhood.

Can you marry an actor?

No! I don't have plans to marry an actor. But I admire couples in Nollywood. The likes of Olu Jacob and Joke Silva, Zack Orji and Ngozi Orji. But as for me, I can't marry an actor because I’m a jealous lover. I can't have my hubby being regularly  busy on  movie sets. That won't give us enough time to be with each other.

Lepacious Bose and Queen Shelly Ogbise: Two of a kind

Queen Shelly
Five striking similarities of Lepacious Bose and Queen Shelly
Take a closer look at these two damsels. Did you ask who they are? Well they are Lepacious Bose, a known Yoruba movie actress who has started featuring in English movies and Queen Shelly Ogbise, the current  Miss Curvy Culture, 2015. They have a lot in common.
The first similarity is that the two divas are celebrities who are doing what they have passion for.
Secondly, they are black beauties who believe in the slogan ‘black is beautiful.' Meaning that  they are proud of their complexion. Hence, they never used bleaching cream in their lives.
Thirdly, they are both fuller-figured and are not timid in any way because of their size. They are proud of who they are and they are comfortable in their own skin.
Fourth similarity is that their arms are still firm and toned. Can you beat that?
Fifth  is that they are both well read. Though Bose is an actress, but she is a lawyer by profession while Queen Shelly is a Computer Science graduate.

I was drenched on a lunch date-Queen Shelly Ogbise

The naughtiest thing I have ever done was to walk in the rain  because I needed to meet up with an appointment.  I don’t really believe in coming late to an appointment and begin to say it’s African time. That’s because I hate being kept waiting.
So, one very day, I was properly dressed, with my Brazilian hair extension well styled. I didn’t know it was going to rain. When I left my house, it was a bit sunny. There was no sign of rain at all (giggled).

Kissing-roles on movie sets have really gone wacko!

Chioma Okoye
Have you observed that  kissing-roles in our Nollywood movies are getting hotter and hotter by the day?  Same goes with Ghollywood (Ghana) movies. Hmmm, really hot and real.
Actors kissing in a movie
I disagree with  Anita Joseph, the delectable Nollywood actress who said in a press interview that deep kissing in movies were mere fallacy (make-believe). “But the way we do it, you viewers think it’s real,” she said, trying to convince me.
But what she said is nothing but  ‘Asi-Ocha’ (white lie). Some of them are real, yes as real as the sky is blue.
Did you ask what about  if they kiss for real? That after all, ‘Oyinbos’  even do worst things than mere deep kissing on movie sets? You are right. Nobody is bothered about that and no actor should be blamed for kissing and smootching  in movies as if his life depends on it provided the script says so. So, I give kudos to our Nollywood folks shaa, for kissing any available mouth so deeply, once the script says so and the movie director insists. It’s not easy! There is no easy way to make money and fame.  So, kudos to you our movie stars!
