‘Enough of this! I’m walking out of my marriage’ (3)

This is the concluding part of Rita and Nelson’s story. The duo met in a crusade ground somewhere in
Enugu state. And before the crusade was over, they were already friends. They
joined same church after the crusade and that was when their relationship began
to sizzle. Below is the rest of the story.
Rita took Nelson home and introduced him to her mother. “She
was happy when she saw him and pretended as if she hadn’t been anxious about my
getting married. I told mum everything before I brought Nelson home. I told him
about his career, his people and the fact that Nelson and I had never slept
together. That it was a taboo in my church to do so before marriage. My mum
loved him the more for that and said he was very unlike today’s men who would
want to sleep with their fiancées before walking them down the aisle. So,
before I brought Nelson home, mum had already developed soft spot for him,” she
enthused.

This is the continuation of Rita and Nelson’s story. Rita
was due for marriage but she wasn’t desperate until her mum started being a
pain in her neck. She was always asking when she would bring suitor home.
Because of her mum, she didn’t make noise about her 32nd birthday
because her mother complained when she celebrated 30 without a man to call her
own. Below is the rest of the story.
A male fan once slapped my bums at Shoprite-Anita Joseph Nollywood actress
"It happened when I went
to shop at Shoprite. I wasn’t expecting it and suddenly what I heard on my bums
was a loud slap. I was shocked, (giggled).
You know how one feels when you are not expecting a tap, touch or even a slap.
So, I was angry when I turned and saw a guy I have never met before hitting me
on my bums. When I shouted at him angrily
asking why he did that, he started apologizing to me. He said he was carried
away with my bums so much that he didn’t know when he did that. He continued apologizing so much that I had to forgive him and walked
away"

Rita and Nelson met in a church crusade somewhere in Ogui
Road, Enugu. The crusade lasted for a week. Nelson came seeking for God’s
healing. He had been having some health issues right from age 35 and he was
present at the crusade ground having
heard that the man of God for that crusade had raw power of God to heal and to
perform signs and wonders. An asthmatic friend who actually invited him,
insisted he should be present because he was healed at a crusade ground
somewhere and sometime ago.
