‘Your feet need some tender loving care (TLC)’
Who else can lecture us
authoritatively on shoe discomforts if not a beauty queen Queen Siaka Nimat (Miss Curvy Nigeria Tourism) who
wears heels most times when she attends glamorous events?
She says that some kinds of
pain are difficult to avoid, “but one that's largely preventable is foot pain.
Most often you can trace foot pain directly to the shoes you decide to
wear. And no matter how they hurt, you must wear them if you are ready for red
carpet events. That
is why I keep saying that our feet do a lot for us every day, hence they need
some Tender Loving Care in return. So ponder over these tips below,” she giggles.
'If these are too high for you, opt for lower heels' |
*
Insist on Comfort
If you love heels and you can’t walk well in
five or six-inch- heel, try shorter ones. A two-inch heel is better than a
four-inch heel.
* Don't wear heels every day
Don’t wear them when
you will be on your feet for a long time. Choose chunky heels instead of skinny
ones if you have flat feet.
* Ease the Stress
Extra weight can
lead to muscle fatigue as well as heel, arch, and muscle pain. Maybe when you
are in your house or you are strolling, wear comfortable slippers. Just as I’m
wearing in this pix.
