Pretty Jennifer Enujiugha, 26, from
Anambra State grew up in a family
of two girls and a baby stepbrother she loves so much. She confessed she had
fun but tough childhood. In this interview with ADAEZE AMOS, this graduate of
Crop Production and Protection from Abia State University talked about her
lifestyle, dress sense and why she abandoned what she studied in the university
for modeling and entertainment.
Excerpts:
How was growing up?
Growing up was indeed fun! I grew
up having a lot of adventures. That’s what I can say about my childhood.
Why did you via into entertainment after graduation?
Yes, it’s true that I studied Crop
Production and Protection at Abia state University, Uturu but I always had
passion for media and entertainment. Likewise modeling. In fact, I became
passionate about modeling right from my 300 level in the university.
What have you benefited from modeling?
I learnt how to compote myself
properly as a lady. Reason is that at
some point in my life, I became carefree with my appearance and I figured modeling
kept me cautious. Yes, modeling gave me my groove. I started training myself to be poised and
elegant.
What thrills you most about modeling?
What thrills me most about being a
model is being treated like a goddess and living in an amazing fantasy that you
would not want to come out from.
Mention some lapses in the modeling world you would want to talk about?
Lack of discipline and playing of
favoritism in the modeling circle is getting out of hand. I believe every model
should be given an opportunity to showcase his or her potentials and favouritism
shouldn't be played.
What are some things limiting Nigerian models in this part of the world?
The major thing limiting us in this
society is the fact that modeling hasn't been fully accepted in Nigeria and
it's quite challenging to have a career without having the support of your
loved ones.
To some up-and-coming models, what few words of advice do you have for
them?
I would advise them to eat right,
take good care of their skin, groom themselves to be better models than the
ones before them.
What stands you out in the modeling world?
That should be my size and my
default smile.
Which of the Nigerian models do you admire and why?
I would go for Oluchi Onweagba Orlandi because
she has indeed given Nigerian young models hope. How she rose from nobody to a
celebrity is awesome. Internationally, Ashley Graham is someone I would like to
achieve most of what she has achieved
but wouldn’t want to be like her because we are different persons.
Can you define your style?
My style is simple and elegant.
What part of your body wouldn’t you mind flaunting proudly?
I would totally not mind flaunting my hips
What are your statistics?
My height is 6.1ft, bust34 waist is 38 and
hips 51
If asked to market a product, what do you think would be your selling strategy?
I would my smiles because when I
smile, it can melt any stony heart or heart of iron. I believe that can sell
any product.
What lesson has life taught you?
Life has taught me that being patient can get
you more than your heart desires.
What is your life philosophy?
My life philosophy is that patience
is virtue, consistency and determination pay well at the end.
What is the craziest thing a male fan has done to you?
Stalking! This happened in such a way that it
got on my nerves.
Can you define your style?
My style is simple but elegant.
What fashion item that forms a larger form of your wardrobe?
Jeans! I love jeans a lot.
What was the naughtiest thing you have ever done?
