‘There is
need to appreciate tourism in Nigeria’
She is indeed a true beauty of African tourism. Take a closer
look at her face, don’t you recognize her? Queen Siaka Nimat, the Miss Curvy Nigeria,
Tourism, 2015. When she was crowned on October last year, it was never a mistake. The
organization actually crowned the right personality.
And ever since she was crowned queen, she has never relented
working hard, touching lives and trying to leave her importance to the sands of
times. So, that perhaps when Miss Curvy
Nigeria, Tourism 2016 comes on board, she would continue from where Queen Siaka
Nimat stopped.
Guess what? Just some few weeks back, this black beauty was spotted
doing what she has always had passion for. She was on tourist excursion as a
tour guide at Idanre Hill, in Ondo State. “I went with tourists who came to
Nigeria for tourism and it was fun. I was their tour guide and it was a great
privilege on their path that Miss Curvy Nigeria, Tourism 2015, was with them,”
she said, excitedly.
Did you say and what about it? Well, there is a whole lot
about it. “That is to say there is need for us to appreciate tourism in
Nigeria. If white people could come all the way to Ondo to enjoy the site, why
can’t we learn to value what we have? We
have great topographies, rocks, mountains, interesting historical sites and
attractions. This place is called Idanre Hill, in Ondo state. An historical
hill, where the indigenes of Idanre people used to live back then in the olden
days,” she said.
