The fast rising music youngster Debie Rise was a delight to watch at the Vanguard personality Award of the year 2014 held at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island Lagos over the weekend where she mesmerized and dazzled with her vocal strength and previously unknown dexterity on guitar.

Debie Rise who is signed to 800 records is not new to performing at such a big event as that. This diva late last year performed at Felaburation 2014 held at the Freedom Park, Lagos. She also had performed at the Fotoplus Award Night powered by Wema Bank at the Obafemi Awolowo University with the big names like Wande Coal and Oritsefemi

So, this songstress  at the Vanguard Personality Award was no less different in class of invited artistes as she added colour to the already electrifying atmosphere with her beautiful performance and thrilled the guests to nice music. The rousing applause from the guest was nothing short of excitement and satisfaction with her performance

The star revelation of the TV reality show, Nigerian Idol who had released series of hit singles looked quite admirable in her shot red gown and stunned everyone in the house with her dexterity as she displayed on the guitar. Some other artistes who were at the ceremony were Kiss Daniel who also made a good performance with his hit song ‘Woju’; and Patoranking who came with some reggae flavour.

The Vanguard Personality Award is a yearly event organized by the Vanguard newspaper  to commend outstanding performances in the government in the year under view. The ceremony which was held amidst glitz, glamour and grandeur saw elites from the media, business, diplomatic and political class in attendance.
