Who is a potential adulteress?

A model
This topic is honestly somehow! I didn’t want to write it in the first place but just as other topics that have been carried on this column, something led to it. Yes, something initiated it. I want to apologise to women/sisters this story would be referring to but you see, at times, one needs to point out some facts, if we actually want to address it.

I'm a bohemian chic, a free spirit, ladylike and individualistic-Nikky Khiran, fashion designer

‘Nigerians are the Arabs of Africa, we are naturally flamboyant and love dressing up’

ADAEZE AMOS

Nikky Khiran is one Nigerian fashion designer that has lasted the test of time. She has been in the world of fashion for over two decades and she is still waxing strong. Her view about Nigerian women is awesome but she insists that some of them commit some style blunders that ought to be avoided. “Yes Nigerian women are extremely fashionable, yet it is sad when older women try too hard to dress like young girls. I believe in aging gracefully but we can't all be like Tina Turner who gets away with almost everything! So, don’t step out revealing parts of you that should be covered in the name of fashion. Simply put, you can still be sexy even while covered up,” she enthused.
Relieving her experience in the fashion industry wasn’t difficult. “Yes I've been a designer for over 20 years and putting smiles on the faces of people is worth all the hard work. People buy my pieces and call me later to commend my work. That honestly makes me happy. Yes, my clients call me to talk to me about compliments they get when they wear my designs, that makes me existed,” she stressed.

Heavily pregnant tummies are now being flaunted proudly

It is true that when pregnancy starts getting to the full term, the tummy is no longer concealed. In other words, everyone can see the heavily protruded tummy at this stage of pregnancy. Even those who were hiding it at an early stage, would give up hiding because the tummy would be obvious.
But hold on, this is not the topic of the story this week. It is not the main bone of contention. What we are going to be looking into is the fact that today’s funky pregnant mums no longer cover their tummies unlike what used to be obtainable in the days of the yore. Or in the days of our grannies. These days, it is a common sight on the net and Facebook to see yummy pregnant mums flaunting their pumps without giving a hoot. Maternity styles that open up the big tummy abound in boutiques today. Did you say wow?

‘My fiance ditched me because I’m epileptic’ (2)

This is the conclusion of Eucheria’s story. She had epilepsy, an infirmity she was born with, which had continued to bring her shame and disgrace starting from her childhood, to the time she was in the university and up  till date. The major disgrace happened on her matriculation day.  As she was about taking some shots with Dora her mum, she had an epileptic attack which brought her down to the floor. Such attack never stopped because it prevented her fiance from marrying her. Below is the rest of the story.

‘My fiance ditched me because I’m epileptic’ (1)

Model
Eucheria’s story is very emotional.  Reason is that the infirmity which made Anthony her fiance ditch her wasn’t her fault. She was born with it, and that made Dora her mother very sad because she saw Lovett her own mother (Eucheria’s grand mother)  battle epilepsy until she died.
When she (Eucheria) was born, her first epileptic attack happened when she was barely six months. “My mother thought it was mere convulsion. She ran to her bottle of palm kernel oil and applied it into my  eyes. She was restless until after a while, the attack stopped and I came round.  But according to her, when the attack reoccurred after two months, she rushed me to the hospital and it was there that she was told I was epileptic. She was devastated. There on the spot she remembered her late mother Lovett who battled epilepsy until she died.

Actress Annes Anaekwe in a sizzling romance with Belgium based footballer Imoh Ezekiel

Guess what? A bystander reported that these twosome were said to have met in his house in Victoria Garden City, Lagos, where the stunning beauty went to shoot a movie titled Instagram Gurlz, produced by Bold Step Movies.

It was also said that they exchanged contacts and days later Imoh was seen at the hotel where the actress was lodged. His visits became often.

Did you ask what then is my business? Well, I was just wondering what it is with actresses (celebrities) and footballers. Maybe something good would come out of this relationship, who knows? Or does this remind you of an ex-beauty queen Adaeze Igwe who was walked down the aisle by a footballer Joseph Yobo some years back? Well, let’s wait and see!

‘It hurts watching my hubby mourn his girlfriend’ (parts one and two)

A model
Maureen and Benson got married some ten years ago and their marriage had never been blissful right from day one. “My marriage had never made me happy, though people used to think the opposite because I pretend a lot. I had complained severally to my mother, (my number one confidant),  how I had longed to take a walk out of  it but her advice and words of encouragement had kept me on.
“Then of course my three children were like strong chains that tied me down in Benson’s house even when he cheated on me without remorse. Infidelity runs in my hubby’s blood like a stubborn virus. Right from the first year he wedded me was when I noticed he still kept his strings of girlfriends. And not even my pleas could make him stop. When I was advised to hold on to God strongly, that it would make him stop, I started making church a safe haven, yet he couldn’t stop. There was a period I tarried before God in prayer, so much that my pastor said to me that God would have called  my husband to glory because of what he was doing to me but that He didn’t want to make me a widow,” she recalled.
